Caro Torres

Carolina Torres

Product Designer with 7+ years of experience transforming complex product ecosystems into scalable systems through strategic design.

My work sits at the intersection of user needs, business strategy, and technical feasibility. I specialize in creating frameworks, processes, and design structures that enable teams to scale sustainably while maintaining clarity and consistency.

I have collaborated with multidisciplinary teams across more than 10 countries, working closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders. I thrive in technical environments and translate complexity into actionable design direction.

Currently focused on design leadership, mentorship, and building scalable systems that support long-term product growth.

ABOUT ME

I started my career in UX Research, driven by a simple question: why do people behave the way they do? With a background in Industrial Design, I was trained to observe carefully, identify real pain points, and simplify complexity into meaningful solutions. That curiosity eventually led me into digital product design (and into a deep appreciation for technology and its power to shape everyday experiences.)

Today, my role has evolved beyond execution. While I still love crafting thoughtful interfaces and working through wireframes, I now contribute more strategically, collaborating in project planning, defining product direction, and mentoring junior and mid-level designers.

What excites me most at this stage of my career is the balance: designing impactful solutions while building sustainable strategies and stronger teams. I care about scalable systems, continuous improvement, and creating products that are not only usable but purposeful.
